I am an author and illustrator living in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In addition to my own picture books, I have illustrated children's books published by Lark Books, Marshall Cavendish Children, Scholastic Library Publishing and Ladybird Books. The first book I illustrated, Tunjur! Tunjur! Tunjur! A Palestinian Folktale, written by Margaret Read MacDonald, received an ALA Notable Book Award. In 2019, my work received an Honorable Mention at the 3x3 Picture Book Show. In 2023 and 2024 my picture books were selected to the dPICTUS Unpublished Picturebook Showcase. My illustrations have also decorated products such as napkins, paper plates, greetings cards, gift bags and even facial tissues! Currently, I am an Artist-in-Residence at the Mosesian Center for the Arts in Watertown, MA.
